Little is known about Maggie Simrell.  To date, all that I can find on Maggie was written by Lady Simrell Blevins (her niece) in 1982.

Lady writes that Maggie was a beautiful girl.  She married Joseph T. Adcock who was a physician.  Maggie and Joe died at a very young age of pneumonia, leaving behind two small children, Frank and Lucille Adcock. 

Frank and Lucille were raised by their grandmother (Roxie Ann Clark, Simrell, Helton) Mr. Helton was Roxie Ann’s second husband whom she married after the death of Henry P. Simrell.

Frank went to medical school in Memphis, TN. and spent the summers on the farm near Cloverdale, TN.  Frank married (wife unknown) and they had one child (name unknown). 

Frank practiced medicine in Texas.  It is noted that Frank died single and is buried in Old Bildad Cemetery, DeKalb Co. Tn. just south of Smithville, TN. near his parents and grandmother.

There is no known information on Frank’s sister Lucile, at this point.
